Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!

Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.
Now, we are not saying that a single candle is going to kill anyone, but if there is a healthier alternative available, why not choose it? Where to begin? How to describe the thousand ways, in which this company is simply wonderful!
The first candle I purchased from "Pure Integrity" was "Herb Garden".
The scent is subdued, yet delightful. It's difficult to describe a scent, however, I'd say that within the aromatheraphy collection "Herb Garden" is a soothing scent that can be easily used in any room of the house.
I love that the candlers are made out of "soy" and that they last such a long time. This is a candle that I will definetely purchase again-A staple in my collection! I also love the frosted jars the candles are pour in--they match any decor and they are so pretty.
The customer service is superb! I made a couple of calls and the representatives I spoke with were beyond helpful. The order arrived very quickly, nicely packaged and with an unexpected treat and surprise: A Thank You handwritten note, and two candlelights to try other scents I had inquired about.

I really like fresh clean scents, e.g. fresh cotton. And like a lot of the other reviews I can't quite 'place' the scent of the Herb Garden Candle. I really do like it though and it does smell fresh. It's almost like a dryer sheet with a smidge of floral. ... And as for being a clean burning candle, I am impressed. I am very skeptical about everything, but I wanted to give PI candles a chance. And I'm glad I did. I don't like the black soot that ends up on my walls and everything else after extinguishing a candle. So I always put the lid back on the candle, which burns it out and contains the smoke. And what always results is black soot coating the inside of the glass and lid. I did the same thing with this candle and once 'the smoke settled' there was no black soot around the glass. I've burnt this candle at least 3 or 4 different times and extinguished it the same way. And there is no build up of soot at all. It also burns perfectly even. I just wish there was a store close to me.
Love all these candles!! The quality and strength is evident !! The only maintenance is keeping your wicks trimmed...that's it !! Look no further...The fragrance can be strong if you choose it to be but never overpowering to a point of nausea or headache. The wonderful thing is that the categories of candle strength are so helpful for people that may be sensitive. However, if you put any candle in a larger room or open a door to a closed off room, you can just as easily control the strength as well. I only purchase the top 2 highest strength categories because my home has an open plan and I truly can get away with a large double wick strong strength candle in a 25x30 area with 13 foot ceilings. Never found another candle that compares. You get what you pay for here and what Pure Integrity gets in return from me is a loyal customer !! Thanks for the handwritten thank you notes. Please don't ever cut corners on your candle process or quality as times goes on. It's perfect !
Lately I have found myself complety addicted to fresh clean scents after reading many reviews I naturally bought Fresh Linen 26oz jar candle, soy melts and 5oz jar. Loved them will buy more melts and larger candle again soon. Brought it to work and the patients in the waiting room LOVED IT as well. With my obsession of this clean laundry scent I almost dismissed the amazing smell of Herb Garden as I did lite the small 5oz jar but in a much to big of a room and not letting it burn long enough to give it a fair test. Today as I write this I'm completely in love with its scent as I lit it this morning not expecting to be wowed. WOW I am so glad I gave this candle another chance as I might actually love more the the fresh linen. So if you're addicted to clean scents fresh and natural aromas this candle is for you. Cant wait to purchase the 26oz jar and using it in the waiting room at work test it on the patients.

Looking for pure soy candles I stumbled with Pure Integrity in Amazon, still I was looking for more and different fragrances so I went directly to their website.
My house has high ceiling and open spaces so Im buying the very strong fragrance ones. With exception of the bedrooms, one candle its all I need to fill the entire house with a beautiful scent. So far Ive tried Victorian Christmas, Mistletoe, Sugared Spruce and Herb Garden.
Victorian Christmas and Mistletoe are my favorites. I dont like very much Herb Garden but everybody else who has visited while it was lit, complemented on the wonderful fragrance (and amazed it was just one lit candle).
About Sugared Spruce, I still have to give it a second chance.

We began ordering one large candle in lavender. The order came promptly, well packaged and included a free tea light sample of another scent and a heart-warming handwritten note! We were so pleased with the clean burning, and long lasting scent that when it came time to place the next order, we got two large candles: "Lemongrass and Clary Sage" as well as "Herb Garden". My husband says he's enjoyed all the candles (The other kinds we have tried he says smell "plastic-ey") from Pure Integrity, but the Herb Garden variety is his favorite. All the candles have been beautiful to display as well as burn. Visitors to our home comment on the lovely smell as well.
We will continue coming back for more candles - prompt response - and the personal touch that goes into every order! It goes a long way to making us feel like valued customers.
Im disappointed in the grape. At first it was ok. But half way down it smells like the cherry cake air freshener they used to use in bathrooms in the old days.(except grape scent). I think it is way too strong. I have to put in down stairs room for just a little while.
Raspberry lemonade is a very clean scent not very fake smelling. Best one I got.
Herb garden does not smell very much like herbs. I cant figure out what it does smell like. But it is a nice clean scent and have been complemented on candle from others. Air filter in basement not turning black from using scented candles. Big plus. Cant only imagine how much smelling yankee did to my lungs if it turned filter black. Will very much continue to buy. Just not grape which used to be my favorite scent.
I purchased three 26 ounce jar candles in the Herb Garden scent. I have existing ceramic holders for that size jar and I was looking for something to replace my favorite unhealthy candles. I was also looking for a scent that my brother could tolerate (I would probably go for the sweeter or muskier scents). He really LOVES this scent and it is VERY VERY strong. When I need to prep the house for visitors (we usually have at least one foster dog and my fur baby), I burn one in the great room, one in my office and one in the kitchen. It's a great scent that doesn't slant too feminine or masculine. I will be sticking with Pure Integrity from now on! Thanks!
This is my first purchase with PI candles. For years I have spent far too much money with Yankee Candle and have been terribly disappointed with most of my orders. The one thing that irritated me the most was the horrible smell of propane or similar gas after their candles burn for a while. Then I found Pure Integrity while searching online. I love fresh scents in my home and tried the Herb Garden based on reviews. The smell is gorgeous and has a very strong throw. After learning that the soy candles leave no black residue on walls, I am sold. Will purchase the Herb Garden again and many other of the fresh scents available.
I found out about Pure Integrity candles when I searched online for "best quality candles" and these candles had such good reviews. I've been burning this candle in a bedroom and the scent is nice and strong. It is fresh and clean smelling and yet not overwhelming. It makes me feel happy and I love this scent! I think this scent should appeal to everyone, men and women alike. I bought the small candle and the jar is so pretty that perhaps I will use it as a vase when it is done being a candle! I love the frosted glass and appreciate that there is no visible label to distract from the appearance.
These are the best candles I have ever had. I am not sure what all the fuss is about Yankee candles because they just dont really have a nice scent or burn very well In my opinion.I can smell these candles when you walk into a room even when theyre not burning. I first started buying Pure Integrity candles because I had a store in the Galleria Mall right next-door. That was probably almost 15 years ago. I had just bought some for myself and a few for my friends and they all love them.
I would recommend these candles to anyone and they completely burned all the way down evenly.
When I read the reviews on several sites for this candle, I was confident about purchasing the largest size. I cannot find the words for this fragrance but it is one that I cannot imagine anyone disliking. I have tried about 5 fragrances ...this being my absolute favorite(so far). It is such a wonderful scent, strong but mellow and smooth, with such a great scent combination...not too much or too little of anything! If you love sandalwood amber you will love this scent, not like sandalwood amber except PI did the same extraordinary job! Perfect scent!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
The Herb Garden wax melts was one of several fragrances I purchased to try. It reminds me of sitting outside in the morning--there's a certain cleanness to the scent. Frankly, I was expecting something that might smell like basil or some other herb but this has a very subtle floral note also. I love it! It has been turned on/off in my wax melter numerous times this past week --probably about 20 hours--and the scent is still there. I feel like I can't try a different fragrance because I don't want to waste this one. People walk into my living room and ask what smells so good.
I love this scent, but was pleasantly surprised when my husband commented a few times how much he liked it this candle. I find it throws a strong scent. In fact, I had the back patio door open and picked up the scent as I walked through my back yard! It is halfway gone and still as strong as ever, so it seems to hold its own. I can't exactly describe the mix of scents in this candle. I think if you liked the original herbal essence shampoo you might like this. Mind you, it's not the same, but there is just something about it that keeps you guessing.
I have been purchasing these candles for several years now, and absolutely love them. These are the only candles I burn in my home... in every room! Have guests over, a small one burns in the bathroom for a welcome and so no one feels the need to "spray" anything. In the living room for another welcome, and in my bedroom, I use a tealight candle in a sea salt holder to fall to sleep to. There will always be my candles! Oh, and every time I place an order, I get a wonderful hand written note of thanks...who does that now?? Pure Integrity does!!
I have ordered from pure integrity several times and have been more Then pleased With the quality, The scents. The packaging And especially love the simplicity of the jars. I feel like this is a company that really Truly cares about the quality of their product and the satisfaction of their customers. My only regret is that I can no longer get the jasmine candle as that was 1 of my favorites hopefully it will be back in in the future. Anyone who has not tried pure integrity candles, don't wait! You will truly be glad you did order them.
I LOVE LOVE this candle. It has such a nice clean smell. So relaxing. This scent is by far the favorite in my workplace. My co-workers come to my area daily to see which new scent I will have and Herb Garden is the pullaway favorite and most requested. I have ran out of both candles I ordered will have to order lots of this scent. It has a nice scent throw. Not overly strong just enough. I can smell rosemary the best. It is one of the best scents I have tried. The scent is like spending a day at a luxurious spa.
My fist purchase was "herb Garden". I absolutely loved the scent. It is not as strong, as I expected it, which in retrospect was a blessing.
Since then I have also purchased "Fruit Slices", "Egyptian Musk", which a absolutely love! Perfect for the living room. A sophisticated, yet subdued scent. "Summer Bouquet, so far my favorite. It was an unexpected surprise, since I am not a fan of floral scents. I also have "Clary Sage" still waiting to be burnt. I have read great reviews about this fragrance. I love this company!
I went on a splurge recently and bought a bunch of candles from here after falling in love with the Woodstock scent. This scent is the only other one that holds a candle to (hehe) Woodstock for my tastes- in fact I think I like Herb Garden more?? Its hard to compare, they are both such lovey and unique scents that set a lovely mood in your space.
As all Pure Integrity candles Ive tried, it burns evenly and has a strong scent attached. Absolutely love this scent and this company.
My wife and I have purchased and tested numerous other brands of scented candles over the last 16 years but Integrity candles have become her obsession; especially the Jasmine fragrance. I do have to admit they are amazing smelling candles that bring our whole home to life; or maybe it's because of her. But seriously you will not be disappointed with these candles; long lasting with twice the scent of any competitor i.e Yankee candles etc. etc.

These are my first orders from PI and this was my first candle I chose to burn because of it's scent strength. I have truly enjoyed the sent of this candle, there was no smut or smoke from this candle and the scent is wonderful. I enjoy the container it is housed in, especially the wooden lid. Simplicity is sometimes just best! This was no exception. The sweet note included in my order was the icing on the cake! Customer for life!
I have only recently learned about this company, and took a chance ordering several candles without being able to sniff them first. The "Fragrance Descriptions" section on the site was very helpful in helping me decide which ones to try. I was happy with all my choices! I love how cleanly these candles burn, and how strongly they are scented. The fragrance will fill the room but will not be overwhelming or cloying. Lovely candles!

I was looking for a candle with great throw that could fill my 700+ sq ft condo. This was the best throw of those I tried from pure integrity. I especially like pure and earthy scents - not sweet cookies, vanilla, etc. This candle was lovely and didn't overpower my space, but did fill it with a great scent. I was expecting strong notes of herbs, but it wasn't that at all. It was more a mellowed spring scent. Great candle!

They are truly pure with no smells that I found offensive with my Yankee Candles. Love the wood covers and the fact that the name of the company isn't plastered all over the jar. I took a chance when ordering the Herb Garden scent based on reviews. I love fresh scents in my home and this candle certainly provides that every day. I love the jars and the wood lids. They add a certain charm to any room. This scent is refreshing and I have one burning every day. There is no "fuel" odor like the Yankee Candles were throwing off. I'm so happy! I'm not one for flowery fragrances and try to find spring summer scents that are not flowery. This is the perfect spring/summer flower if you are not big on flowery scents. It smells like a garden, without having a flowery scent. It is definitely relaxing and tranquil. I receive nothing but compliments on it when guests come over. Even my husband liked it! I will definitely be buying it again!
As always, the purchasing and shipping of the candles went off without a hitch! I think it's SUCH a fantastic touch to include two tea candles with each order - it's sometimes where I get my inspiration for my next scent! I have yet to try the herb garden candle burning, but it smells great as well! A little more floral than I expected, but not overwhelmingly so. I'm excited to try it out!
