Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!

Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.

Macintosh Apple smells exactly like a crisp apple: a refreshingly linear, nostalgic scent. This candle is the holy grail for apple lovers like me. I light it in my living area and it has a light to moderate throw-it fills up the room I light it in lightly and I can smell traces of it in the adjoining room. I found these candles while on tour, last year, (In Buffalo if I remember correctly) and happened to stumble upon the retail store in a mall! I purchased one candle then and I fell in love! I was able to finally purchase some more for Christmas! 1 for me and 2 for my best friends! Without a doubt these are the best candles ever!! They smell incredible and they LAST! Oh my goodness the Macintosh Apple candle smells absolutely gorgeous! It brings back memories of walking through apple orchards on beautiful autumn days. Crisp, fresh, and lovely. I will definitely be ordering this one year-round and highly recommend it to apple lovers like me :)

I received a sample of Macintosh Apple. Fruit scents are not my favorite. But this one knocked me off my feet! Soooo good! Crisp and fresh and a bit tart. It's under "moderate" but I think it's strong. Using only one sample tea light and within fifteen minutes, my entire bathroom was filled with this crisp scent! I also tried Tropical breeze which I found to be moderate, more masculine. And Almost Paradise which is another wow, sweet berry smell. It's hard to pick a favorite.
I ordered these candles for my moms bday. She specifically wanted a soy Macintosh candle. I ordered this for her and it smells awesome! They also came very quickly. The balsam and evergreen were for me for XMas this year and I cant wait to get them lit!! My mom had the mulled cider candle lit today and it smells so good and very strong but not overwhelming. I thought my mom was baking an apple crisp dessert. Love!

I have enjoyed burning candles for many years. However, the pure integrity soy candles burn like no others I have purchased. They burn very evenly without the soot like smoke. Their fragrances are also fantastic and long lasting. These are the best candles I have ever burned.
If you love the smell of crisp fall apples, without the heavy scent of cinnamon, I recommend this one. This candle had a better throw than I expected, given it was classified under the moderate strength scent. It has a strong, crisp apple scent. Very pleased with this one.

Burning a one 2-wick candle is sufficient to scent a 2-level home. The scent stays pleasant and non-offensive even when burning 2 or more candles at the same time.
I personally cannot get enough of apple-scented things in my house. I decided to give this a shot and it did not disappoint! Not overwhelmingly strong. This would be a great choice for those who love a true juicy red apple scent.

When I smell Macintosh Apple I feel as though I am walking through an apple orchid in the middle of a cool fall day. This is the best Macintosh Apple candle scent that I've ever tried.

The macintosh candle has a nice natural fresh aroma. It is not very strong but can fill a medium sized room very nicely.
