Over a decade ago, we made the decision to NOT SELL Pure Integrity Candles through conventional national retailers, including the large big box stores.
We wanted our prices to be competitive with typical paraffin/petroleum based candles on the market without sacrificing quality. The costs of making our candles are higher because we use BETTER QUALITY raw materials and MORE FRAGRANCE. In order to keep prices down, we decided to sell our candles through our own retail locations and our website. This avoids pricey markups through conventional retailers.
Over the years, several large national retailers have contacted us to place our candle line in their stores and attempted to convince us to cut costs by reducing quality which would allow them to sell our candles with higher profits. We’ve refused!
I think you will be glad we have stood firm to our original intent of providing an amazingly scented healthy candle at a great price. Are paraffin candles really harmful to my health?
There is some debate over this question. Commonsense would certainly lead you to believe that burning any petroleum product indoors is not the healthiest thing in the world. Well, paraffin wax is literally one of the by-products of petroleum oil when making/refining gasoline.
Now, we are not saying that a single candle is going to kill anyone, but if there is a healthier alternative available, why not choose it? I've been really impressed with the scent payoff of all the Pure Integrity candles; in fact, it's the reason I purchased them on top of their being a toxin-free solution. They burn well, they're heavily fragranced, fulfill everything they say they are. I guess my issue is that of the 6 scents I tried, this Pine one my favorite, none of th scents are particularly sophisticated. In fact, quite the opposite. While I'm a huge fan of Odin and Diptyque's fragranced candles, I'm not down with their $70 price tag and ingredient obscurity. So if Pure Integrity could devise some really complex, sophisticated, intriguing scents, I'd be a loyal customer for life. If I were a different type of customer I think I'd be blown away by these candles--they really are worth their money and fulfil everything they purport to being, which is utterly fantastic!
Similar to the Evergreen, this too is like having a real tree in your room! We burned this in a fairly large room with vaulted ceilings and it smelled fantastic! Don't be fooled by the "moderate fragrance strength!" Once lit, this candle fills the room with a soothing, refreshing scent of a pine forest. It was more "airy" than the Evergreen giving the effect of a gentle breeze blowing through a pine forest. Like the Evergreen you won't find this candle obnoxious or overpowering. Like all Integrity candles, you can feel good knowing you are not destroying your lungs with harsh chemicals!
Those of you with artificial trees would do better investing in one or two of these rather than scented things you can hang or Glade scents etc...
I was searching for a candle that would not dirty up my walls and ceiling and that also smelled amazing. I found Pure Integrity on the internet and gave them a try. Needless to say, I have NOT been disappointed. These candles burn cleanly, are safe for kids and adults to breathe the air while they are burning and they scent that air beautifully. I use them in my family room and bedroom. I have tried many of the scents offered and found them all to be fantastic. A personal note is always included with each box and you can tell that your business is truly greatly appreciated! If you are looking for candles that are awesome, you MUST try these!!
I burn pine/Christmas type scented candles year round. The Pure Integrity Whispering Pines soy candle is the absolute best. It burns cleanly as do all of the Pure Integrity candles, the scent is perfect and spreads throughout my home beautifully, and the candle burns evenly. I also love the story of how this candle scent was named. Again, after decades of purchasing soy candles I have finally found the best company that is out there. Pure Integrity is an honest, hard working, second to none company that sells the best soy candles that I have ever tried. I found them on the internet via google, and feel so blessed that I did!!
I recently posted a request for a recommendation of a candle that TRULY smells like pine. I got many recs, most of which were the usual suspects (chain stores, etc.). A few days later, I received a Whispering Pines candle "scent" by a FB friend! Glenn is a wonderful person - and he sent me Christmas in a jar. Not only does this candle's scent permeate the air when it's lit, it still delivers a hint of that lovely pine scent when it's out! I <3 my FB Posse - and I love Pure Integrity Candles. They have a new and dedicated customer in me.
This would be a favorite of mine for the Fall and Winter if the scent was stronger. The candle smells amazing but you have to be very close to it. I love a pine scent in the winter and this is the best one I have tried so far but the scent is pretty light where I would hesitate to purchase this one again. It burns clean without soot and the wax burns evenly. Everything is great with this candle company. I have found the ones I really like are not strong enough and the ones that I did like enough were way too powerful.
I heard about Pure Integrity by doing a Google search on Several of the people on there commented on the strength and value of Pure Integrity Cancles, so I thought I would give them a try. The first one I tried was Whispering Pines. It smells fantastic and fills up my entire living room. The candle burns beautifully - no tunnelling at all. (I have had problems in the past with 3/4 of the candle going to waste.) I also love the frosted jar with the wooden lid.

Lovely scent and not too underwhelming or overwhelming. This candle company does a really excellent job of balancing the scent potency based on the scent. When I received my order, I really loved the hand written note from Teresa- it was a sweet and personal touch that you won't get with corporate candle companies. I will be shopping exclusively at Pure Integrity for soy wax candles, and I highly recommend this scent! What an awesome company, I am so happy with the quality of both the products and service!
This scent is incredible! I fell in love with it immediately. Smelling it makes me feel cozy and warm and brought memories of fall camping to mind. Love the frosted glass container and the only place with a label is on the bottom...making it much more decorative. You can burn soy candles for hours and no toxicity! They shipped fast! I love that they offer differents levels of scent strength, and the very strong scents are my favorite! Love this business and their little personal touches...they care!
This was my 1st time ordering from this company. I got 5 different fragranced tea lights and 1 small pot candle. I found the price to be reasonable, the package arrived quickly and all was well packaged and in pretty bags. I have burned 3 tea lights & some of the larger candle. The fragrances are light and natural and the soy burns evenly. There was a hand written note from the owner which was a nice touch & 2 free tea lights were included. I will definitely order from this company again!
First of all customer service at pure integrity candles is without question in an industry leader. Keep up the great work. This scent is absolutely beautiful and I can understand the great reviews. I would warn you however that this candle's strength is rated moderate. It's ability to scent room, other then a very small room is modest at best and quite frankly disappointing in reality. I think I'm learning to look for scents that are rated strong or very strong.
I LOVE these candles! They are exactly as advertised and I usually buy at least 4 large candles at a time. I love the fragrance choices and the clean burning, but best of all is the incredible personal service. I have always received a hand written (how often does that happen these days) personal note along with my candles and free tea candles to sample other fragrances. Incredible service, incredible product, incredible company. What's not to love?
Pure Integrity Candles are the best! Today I am enjoying Whispering Pines. For me it is a beautiful Christmas or winter candle. The description of the candle's scent is perfect. The scent is not overpowering, but yet it fills the room. A month age I was shopping and bought another brand of soy candle. What a mistake! Pure Integrity burns much cleaner, burns longer, and has a much better throw. Thank you for making such fine candles!!
I burn candles year-round but even more so during the holidays. After the New Year I decided to try soy candles after noticing increased headaches, and decided to order from Pure Integrity after reading high ratings on multiple blogs. I love the pine scent - it's just right - and we haven't had headaches. I also appreciated the hand-written note which came in the package. It's "just" candles, but the scent helps make us feel most at home.

First of all I would like to say the customer service is incredible. My candles arrived packaged beautifully and even with a personal note. That does not happen anymore. Whispering Pines is my favorite. The smell of pine fills my house when this candle is burning. It is not overpowering. It is amazing. Wow! Every time I try my candles I think they're all my favorite. A river is my backyard, in between 2 forest preserves. I had the air conditioner on while this was burning & actually thought I left windows open, which I didn't..... I absolutely love this candle! I tend to stick with aromatherapy scents, but I received "Hot Apple Strudel" tealights with this order & love that one too!
I love this candle. Unlike the evergreen fragrance it has a light, fresh smell - like walking through a pine forest on a spring morning. It's a lovely year round scent, whereas I don't like burning candles that smell strongly like evergreen except around Christmas. It's not that the fragrance isn't strong, but it smells more pine and fresh air than sticking your nose in a spruce tree.
I diffuse essential oils and love the natural smells but I miss my candles. I have been looking all over the internet and in stores for a healthy candle that smells like my essential oils, especially the fir oils. I finally found it in whispering pines, its not a fruity, floral or a pine-sol smell. It is a true walking through the forest earthy smell. Finally no more searching

I am a repeat customer of Pure Integrity Soy Candles. Their candles have the best and strongest long lasting fragrances of any candles I have purchased. More importantly, the double cotton wicks make the candles burn evenly and never have any tunneling. I highly recommend them any time of the year. I am a fan of Whispering Pines, Evergreen, Eucalyptus, and I'm pretty excited to try the Lilac but I'm going to wait until after Christmas for that. Pure Integrity offers the best soy candles I have found. The scent is not cloying and diffuses well thru the house. There is the added benefit of knowing that in burning soy you are not adding toxins to your environment. I have purchased as gifts for others, recommended them to others. Pure Integrity is the only candle I will burn.

I love all your candles. They have the best fragrances. I burn them in every room of my home. Though they are expensive, they are worth it. With two wicks, each candle burns all the way down to the bottom. Hardly any wax left. I will be purchasing more in the future. Thank you Integrity for making the best candles ever!
