How do you know when you should stop burning a jar candle? Is their a certain amount of time you should burn it for?

We are enjoying your candles very much. I like to have the smell of your candles all day inthe house – but it says on the bottom of the jars “burn only 4 hours”.
Can’t they burn longer then that ?
